We don't carry our fur coats with us, so broths and stews are most welcome now. We still have bones, shanks, and stew meats -- all waiting to nourish you in this cold! It is amazing how well the animals tolerate this cold. It is lambing season. The animals often do not come into the barn unless it is very windy, or near zero. Their body heat raises the temperature of the barn by 10 or more degrees! But, they still do like a warm treat of organic lentils and onions, though (for protein, energy, and immune support).

Work is part time and flexible. Project work, typically on Saturdays, but you can work on your own during the week. Includes everything from moving hay to building things to equipment maintenance. We will match your interests, skill, and time. Chores are done twice daily - you can sign up for 1-2 days/week, morning or evening.
