OUR STORY
When Anne and John (the Gray) got married, they dreamt of a farm. Blooming where planted and taking advantage of a grandfather clause, they had vegetables, chickens, rabbits and bees on their suburban lot.
After many years of searching, waiting, and learning through urban farming, they purchased land in Cedarburg, WI. Now, they and their four adult children are happy stewards of 20 acres.

Our animals are pasture-raised. Sheep and goats are grass fed and finished. Poultry and rabbits are supplemented with certified organic, non-GMO feed. Some are kept in movable "tractors" to protect them from predators.
We promote animal health through good living conditions and nutrition. We do regular well checks, given them fresh pasture daily, and provide them with free choice minerals and a greater variety of plants in the pasture than is usual. On rare occasion, we use medications when natural remedies don't work so that a sick animal does not suffer or die unnecessarily. However, we are not certified organic
Our land has healed. When we bought the land it flooded every spring. This is no longer true. We have planted trees to provide shade for the animals and provide homes to wildlife. The variety of insects, animals and plants has greatly increased!
We raise chickens, ducks, turkeys, rabbits, sheep, and goats.
